Virtual Biology Educator

Summary

Virtual Biology educator position delivering live-streamed instruction to high school students across U.S. school districts. Educators select available jobs through a portal and guide students to course completion in a fully remote environment. Responsibilities: Deliver virtual instruction during scheduled time slots (M-F 12:20-1:15 PM CST), create aligned lesson plans, promote student engagement and creativity, and track student grades and performance. Skills: Virtual teaching expertise, student engagement and relationship-building abilities, curriculum development and alignment skills, and proficiency with learning management systems and online communication tools. Qualifications: Valid Iowa teacher certification in Biology/high school Math, Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, and authorization to work in the United States. Prior online teaching experience is preferred. Location: Fully remote Compensation: $35 – $40/hour $35-40 hourly. Rates are negotiable and subject to change M-F 12:20 to 1:15 PM CST Fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity. Valid Iowa teacher certification in Biology is required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. • Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and have a current Iowa teacher certification in high school Math certification.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
