Junior Marketing and Social Media Associate Remote United States Description ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a creative, tech-savvy Junior Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, producing compelling content, and leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to amplify our brand across digital channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, genuinely excited about artificial intelligence, and comfortable working independently in a work-from-home environment. Compensation: Depends on experience; Range starts at $20.00/hr KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Content Creation & Social Media

  • Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and X (Twitter)
  • Design on-brand graphics, short-form videos, carousels, and promotional assets using Canva
  • Write compelling captions, copy, and marketing materials that align with brand voice and campaign objectives
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent and strategic posting cadence
  • Monitor social channels, engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and help grow community

AI-Powered Marketing

  • Use AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, and others daily to accelerate content creation, ideation, and campaign strategy
  • Demonstrate fluency navigating multiple AI platforms beyond basic tools; apply them creatively to real marketing challenges
  • Stay current on emerging AI tools and proactively recommend new solutions to improve team output and content quality

Automation & Scheduling

  • Build and manage marketing automation workflows for social scheduling, posting, and content distribution
  • Set up and maintain scheduling tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or similar) for consistent and reliable delivery
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing tasks and improve team operational efficiency
  • Assist in building automated reporting dashboards to track campaign KPIs and social media metrics

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on social media performance including reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance summaries with clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Use platform analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.) to refine strategy

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Partner with leadership to align social media content with broader marketing goals and ongoing campaigns
  • Support paid social campaigns by providing creative assets and copy as needed
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity, and audience behavior to keep content relevant and fresh

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role. Associates degree or higher is a plus
  • Hands-on proficiency with AI tools including ChatGPT and Claude
  • Strong working knowledge of Canva for graphic and content design
  • Experience with social media scheduling and marketing automation platforms
  • Proven ability to create original content written, visual, and short-form video for social media
  • Solid understanding of social media best practices, platform algorithms, and audience engagement
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for detail, tone, and brand consistency
  • Self-motivated and highly organized; able to manage multiple projects independently in a remote setting
  • Comfortable with technology and eager to adopt new digital tools quickly

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with generative search applications and AI-driven SEO or content discovery tools
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar
  • Basic understanding of paid social advertising (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
