Medical Epidemiologist

Position: Public Health Expert Type:Contract Compensation:$85–$93/hour Location:Remote Commitment:~20 hours/week Role Responsibilities
- Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on public health problems.
- Produce original problem sets using epidemiologic charts, surveillance data, and population health figures.
- Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to improve training data quality and model outputs.
- Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD or DrPH in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policy, or related field, orMD/DO with MPH and 3+ years of public health practice, orMPH with 5+ years in applied epidemiology, surveillance, or health policy.
- Working fluency in at least two of: epidemiologic study design, biostatistics, infectious disease, chronic disease, or health policy.
- Comfortable with epi curves, forest plots, and surveillance dashboards.
Preferred
- Experience in government, NGO, or academic public health track.
