What you'll do
As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data engineering solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
- Designing and implementing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services
- Developing and maintaining data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake
- Ensuring data quality, security, and governance through robust data validation, data masking, and access control
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering and analytics
What you'll need for success
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-based data platforms and data lakes
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C#
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data marts, and data governance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Preferred qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on cloud-based applications and data engineering
- Experience with Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and other Azure streaming services
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps
- Certification in Azure Data Engineer or a related field
