Entry Level Writer - App Tester/Reviewer

We're seeking a junior-level Writer and Application Tester to take on a unique hybrid role that combines practical QA work with written evaluation. As an ideal candidate, you'll perform thorough app assessments and translate those findings into compelling written content. This position offers a fantastic launching pad for aspiring writers who want to deepen their technical knowledge while developing their communication abilities. You'll sharpen your analytical thinking, learn to convey complex app behaviors in accessible language, and contribute meaningful guidance to our user base as they explore new mobile applications. Roles:This position involves downloading and installing apps on your personal device, thoroughly examining their capabilities and user experience, then documenting your observations. Your core responsibilities center on evaluating application performance and composing detailed evaluations that capture the strengths, limitations, and any technical problems you encounter during testing. Requirements:You must have access to at least one of these devices: iPhone, iPad, Android Smartphone, or Android Tablet. Contract length:This is an open-ended arrangement with no predetermined endpoint, offering you the flexibility to balance this work with your personal and professional obligations. Rate:Compensation starts at $35 hourly and may increase depending on the technical complexity of apps assigned and the thoroughness of your written assessments. Skills/background needed: Ownership of a compatible mobile device where you can download and efficiently use multiple applications. Ability to manage tasks autonomously with minimal oversight. Strong attention to detail and capacity to adhere to specific protocols. A minimum commitment of 5 hours weekly availability. Access to consistent, stable broadband connectivity.
