Job Description Location: Greater London (home based with regional travel) Salary: £37,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekYour new companyA well established organisation with a growing high street and commercial estate across the UK and Ireland is continuing to expand its Facilities team. Your new roleAs a Tradesperson, you will be responsible for delivering high quality reactive and planned maintenance across a portfolio of sites. This is a mobile, home based role covering Greater London, with regular travel to sites and occasional travel outside the region.Carrying out day to day maintenance and minor repair works across multiple trades Completing basic plumbing, joinery, painting, decorating, and general building repairs Undertaking minor electrical tasks where permitted (e.g. changing light fittings) Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests Assisting with planned preventative maintenance tasks Identifying and reporting defects requiring specialist contractor attendance Proven experience in a trade, caretaker, facilities, or maintenance role Strong practical knowledge across multiple trades (e.g. plumbing, joinery, decorating) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision CSCS card Full UK driving licence Flexibility to travel regularly across London and occasionally further afield NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) Facilities management, healthcare, housing, or education experience Basic electrical or plumbing certification Legionella or asbestos awareness training Experience using CAFM or maintenance systems Additional trade skills such as tiling, patch plastering, or basic flooring Permanent, stable employment Opportunity to join a growing and established facilities team What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, please apply now or contact Hays for a confidential discussion.
