Software Quality Engineer

PROJECT OVERVIEW The goal of the project is to improve the everyday digital experience for employees in customers’ organizations to increase job satisfaction and overall productivity. The product helps to improve end-user experience and consists of 2 parts: the system metric collector and BI. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners during refinement sessions to analyze requirements and clarify acceptance criteria for each user story or use case; Design and document manual test cases in Xray, including input data and expected outcomes; Verify the availability and completeness of new functionality prior to testing; Execute various types of manual testing (eg, functional, regression, exploratory) to validate new and existing features; Take part in manual regression testing for release candidate validation and production environment verification by performing manual test runs; Log clear, reproducible bugs and follow up on their resolution through re-testing and verification. IF YOU ARE Solid understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices; Experience with test case management tools, particularly Xray for Jira; Strong skills in test planning, documentation, execution, and defect tracking; Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders; Good understanding of SQL and browser developer tools; Experience with API testing and using API testing tools; Attentiveness to the execution of the documented instructions; English proficiency at B2 level or higher (verbal and written). NICE TO HAVE Experience working in product companies; Experience working with US-based teams; Familiarity with automated testing frameworks or willingness to collaborate on automation; Experience in testing AI integrated features. Time Zone You should be able to work in the Eastern Time Zone to support releases at least a couple of days every two months.
