The Medical Scribe will work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to document patient encounters in real-time, allowing providers to focus more on direct patient care. DrCatalyst (DrC) is a remote healthcare staffing organization that has over 750 billable staff from the Philippines.Work Schedule and Arrangement: Night shift PHT, Full time, Remote work for those outside Cebu provinceResponsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently document patient history, physical exams, assessments, treatment plans, lab results, and follow-up instructions into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.Assist providers during patient examinations by entering information into the EHR in real-time.Organize and maintain patient charts and other medical documentation.Review and verify provider documentation for accuracy and completeness.Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate patient information and timely communication.Handle confidential patient information with the utmost discretion and comply with HIPAA regulations.Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

Medical Allied GraduateStrong understanding of medical terminology and anatomyExcellent typing speed (at least 60 WPM) and computer literacyStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Preferred:

Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare settingFamiliarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)Pre-medical or healthcare-related coursework or background

Salary and monetary benefits (in PHP):

Monthly salary of maximum 30,000PHP - 40,000PHP (depending on experience)Monthly Attendance Bonus - 2,000PHPNew Hire Bonus - 5,000PHP
