Job Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex Urgent Care, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional patient service, ensuring that every individual's needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner
  • Greeting patients in a friendly and welcoming manner, collecting insurance cards and identification, and verifying patient information
  • Entering patient admitting information into our electronic medical record (EMR) system and adding patients to our clinic schedule
  • Receiving payment on account and performing necessary accounting duties in accordance with standard procedures
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, preparing forms, and resolving routine office problems
  • Participating in department quality improvement activities, staff educational programs, and attending departmental meetings
  • Demonstrating a commitment to excellence, teamwork, and customer satisfaction in all interactions

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in EMR, DocuTap, Excel Spreadsheet software, and MS Word Processing software
  • Ability to lift, position, and/or transfer patients, as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a urgent care or emergency department setting

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. CCRP, CCM)
