Vice President – Operations (Market Research) East Coast, USA (Hybrid) $200,000 – $225,000 base About the Opportunity A leading healthcare market intelligence and insights organisation is seeking a Vice President – Operations to lead and scale its end-to-end production function. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring predictable, high-quality, and efficient execution across the full market research lifecycle — from physician recruitment through to final report publication . The role is ideal for an operations leader who can combine process excellence, systems thinking, and technology-driven optimisation to improve speed, scalability, and delivery quality. The Role As Vice President of Operations, you will own and optimise the organisation’s research production and delivery ecosystem , ensuring seamless execution across multiple workstreams and teams. Key responsibilities include: End-to-End Operational Leadership

• Own and manage

full research execution workflows (programming, fielding, data processing, reporting, publication)

• Ensure smooth delivery across teams through

structured, system-driven project management

• Design workflows that reduce

handoff friction, rework, and inefficiencies

• Translate business and franchise needs into

clear operational execution plans Systems, Technology & Automation

• Own and evolve

Asana (or similar platforms) as the system of record for operations

• Build

real-time dashboards (e.g. Asana, Power BI) to track delivery, capacity, and performance

• Identify and implement

automation opportunities across workflows and reporting

• Support integration across internal systems (e.g. CRM, data platforms, SharePoint, reporting tools)

Governance & Delivery Excellence

• Establish clear

ownership, workflows, and decision-making frameworks

• Ensure projects launch with defined

scope, timelines, and success criteria

• Proactively identify and resolve

delivery risks and bottlenecks

• Lead operational forums focused on

execution and continuous improvement Team Leadership & Capacity Planning

• Lead and develop teams of

data analysts, programmers, and operational staff

• Oversee

capacity planning, workload balancing, and resource allocation

• Translate demand into

forward-looking staffing and execution plans

• Ensure strong integration of

panel operations and delivery workflows Publication & Scaling Operations

• Own the

publication roadmap across franchises and products

• Build scalable

standards, templates, and operating playbooks

• Establish a

centre of excellence for production operations

• Drive consistency in

quality, speed, and scalability of delivery What We’re Looking For

• 7–10+ years’ experience in

operations, PMO, research operations, or workflow management

• Experience within

market research, consulting, or insights environments

• Proven leadership of

technical or analytical teams (data, programming, etc.)

• Strong experience with

project management systems (e.g. Asana or equivalent)

• Ability to build

dashboards, KPIs, and operational reporting (e.g. Power BI)

• Strong background in

process design, governance, and operational scaling

• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and execution-focused mindset
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
