Remote | Full-time | Official employment Location: Ontario, Canada (GTA / SW Ontario)

About the Company

Our client is a leading American provider of vehicle protection programs, now expanding into the Canadian market. We are seeking a high-performance Dealer Development Manager to spearhead their Ontario launch. This is a hunter role for a seasoned automotive professional who thrives on building territories from scratch. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and onboarding independent and franchised dealerships, positioning the company as the premier alternative to incumbent providers.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Acquisition: Proactively prospect and sign new dealership accounts across Ontario (target: 3-5 new signings per month). Consultative Selling: Partner with Dealer Principals and F&I Managers to demonstrate how company products maximize their per-vehicle-retail (PVR) and long-term customer retention. Training & Implementation: Onboard new partners, providing comprehensive product training and sales coaching to dealership staff. Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of competitors by identifying market gaps and pivoting strategies to capture market share. Territory Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for your network, ensuring seamless claims processes and high dealer satisfaction. What We’re Looking For Proven Closer: You have 5+ years of experience in the Automotive Aftermarket, Warranty, or Finance (F&I) sectors. The "Hunter" Mentality: You don't wait for leads. You have a track record of "opening doors" and building a book of business from the ground up. Networked: You possess an existing network of independent and franchise dealers in the GTA and/or Southwestern Ontario. Strategic: You understand dealership economics (P&L) and can talk "numbers" with owners and finance managers. Mobile: You are comfortable being "on the road" 80-90% of the time to support your dealers. Why Join Growth Potential: As the first hire in the region, you will have the opportunity to shape our Canadian operations and move into senior leadership as we scale. Disruptive Product: Offer a modern, tech-forward warranty solution that provides superior coverage and faster claims for dealers. Entrepreneurial Freedom: We value results over bureaucracy. You manage your territory like your own business. Apply To This Job
