Summary

As a Software Technical Writer creates clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for software products. This role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to translate complex technical concepts into manuals, API documentation, user guides, installation procedures, and release notes. Your role in our mission Responsibilities: Need to work closely with other writers, product managers, engineers, and the User Experience (UX) team in an Agile development environment to produce in-app assistance, help, guides, interactive training and videos for administrators, users, and developers. Proven ability to craft content for end users. Ability to quickly learn complex technologies. High standards of quality and attention to detail. Experience with XML-based authoring tools such as Oxygen. Experience with source control software such as Perforce or Git. Excellent problem solver. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong advocate for the customer. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple deliverables within tight deadlines. Strong team player with excellent communication skills. SDLC (Software Development, Operations and Support). Working with different team and vendors to build a strong document library for the Organizational teams. What we're looking for Technical Writer skillset requirements: Familiarity with authoring tools, Madcap Flare, Adobe InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker, Oxygen XML a plus. Expertise in MS Word Creating Templates Formatting Creating consistent styles across documents Proficiency in MS Excel Expertise in SharePoint File sharing Collaboration strategies in SharePoint (e.g., check-in/check-out files in SharePoint) Familiarity in creating, using, and updating style guides. Ability to collaborate with other technical writers on reviewing deliverables. 3 – 5 years’ experience in reviewing/editing deliverables. Skills : Familiarity with authoring tools, Madcap Flare, Adobe InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker, Oxygen XML Expertise in MS Word, MS Excel, SharePoint What you should expect in this role Shift time - 2 pm to 11 pm IST Remote work #LI-DNI Apply To This Job
