PPD-Pharmaceutical Product Development is seeking a highly experienced Senior Safety Reporting Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety reporting for our clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of pharmacovigilance principles. Oversee all aspects of safety reporting for clinical trials, ensuring timely and accurate submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company standards for safety reporting. Continuously monitor and analyze safety data to identify potential risks and trends, and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of safety reporting tasks. Act as the primary point of contact for safety reporting inquiries and escalations, providing timely and effective resolutions. Train and mentor junior safety reporting team members to ensure adherence to best practices and company standards. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documents related to safety reporting. Stay up-to-date with changes in pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines, and incorporate them into safety reporting processes. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and quality of safety reporting. Communicate safety reporting updates and key metrics to internal stakeholders and management. Act as a subject matter expert on safety reporting, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless safety reporting processes. Lead safety reporting meetings and present safety data to internal and external stakeholders. Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the organization through effective communication and training initiatives. Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.
