Join our team as a Senior Technical Pipeline Engineer and be at the forefront of Civil Engineering innovation in the Mid-Atlantic Oil and Gas market. What You'll Do:

  • Lead civil engineering design for pipeline systems and facilities, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and designers
  • Prepare technical drawings, including PFDs, P&IDs, isometrics, Civil 3D models, and contribute to the Alignment Sheet preparation, ensuring alignment with industry codes and client specifications
  • Conduct SMYS, pressure drop, load calculations, equipment, pipe, regulator, and PSV sizing, selection, and specification
  • Drive process and mechanical design, lead communications with clients, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and oversee 3D pipe routing models, layouts, specifications, and placement of flanges, joints, and fittings
  • Lead internal and external meetings to communicate process designs, conduct design reviews, and incorporate client standards into construction documents
  • Support planning, permitting, and construction documentation, and perform site visits to assess, document, and report on existing conditions
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide quality review of P&IDs, BOMs, and drawings
  • Write project specifications, both technical and non-technical sections, ensuring compliance with ASME B31 piping codes and other relevant standards.
  • Demonstrate strong writing, organization, and communication skills to facilitate project success
  • Support existing transmission and well production projects while concurrently developing new business with gas-distribution perspective clients. Commiserate with growth in distribution projects and clients, also develop and lead a team dedicated to gas distribution
  • Function as a liaison between the Verdantas Gas Facilities Design Team and the Civil-Pipeline Team (which this role is with). This could include working on Gas Facility Design Projects and facilitating Pipeline BOMs that do not require detailed 3D Modeling and Drawings
  • Create equipment and device data sheet RFPs
  • Solicit vendor quotes, create bid tabs, and make recommendations

What You Bring:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of Civil Engineering experience; 5+ in oil & gas
  • EIT required; PE Preferred, with additional preference given to licenses held in PA and/or WV
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Strong understanding of GM&R systems
  • Ability to travel for fieldwork
  • Experience with SAP, SCADA, 3-GIS, BlueBeam, preferred
  • Experience with pipeline relocation and facility upgrades

Salary Range: The starting salary for this position is $140,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status. Benefits:
