Role Overview & Career Opportunity We are seeking an Account Executive to be the driving force in securing high-impact media coverage and elevating brand visibility for some of the most innovative tech companies in Defense Tech, Energy, Sustainability & Climate, Industrial Manufacturing, and B2B Tech. You will be instrumental in storytelling and driving media strategy, ensuring our clients’ voices are seen and heard where it matters most. You’ll also play a lead role in our quarterly measurement strategy which not only quantifies the impact of our efforts including tracking media placements, analyzing coverage quality, and benchmarking visibility, but also translates the results into actionable insights that informs how the PR strategy moves forward. It’s an exciting time to be in public relations and this role plays a prominent role in the execution of our tech PR campaigns. As a seasoned PR professional, you have a strong track record in media relations, a deep understanding of B2B enterprise tech, and the ability to build lasting relationships with journalists and influencers across tech and business media.   • Strategic Media Relations: Develop and execute strategic media campaigns that spotlight innovation across high-impact sectors including Defense Tech, Energy, Sustainability & Climate, Industrial Manufacturing, and B2B Tech, positioning client partners at the forefront of industry conversation.
  • Tell Stories That Resonate: Craft and pitch compelling narratives that captivate B2B enterprise audiences, ensuring messaging aligns with industry trends in AI, cloud computing, SaaS, and enterprise IT solutions.
  • Make an Impact with Every Pitch: Build and nurture relationships with top-tier media, influencers, and key sources, proactively securing coverage that drives visibility for our B2B enterprise tech and venture capital client partners.
  • Stay Connected to the Pulse of Tech Media: Cultivate and maintain a dynamic network of key contacts across local, national, and digital tech publications, ensuring our clients’ stories land in the right places at the right time.

Track, Measure, and Optimize

  • Stay Ahead of the Conversation: Continuously monitor industry media to uncover emerging trends, breaking news, and key opportunities within the B2B enterprise tech ecosystem, ensuring our client partners remain at the forefront of innovation.
  • Turn Insights into Action: Using several software platforms, analyze media performance, tracking coverage impact and audience engagement to measure success.
  • Refine and Elevate PR Strategies: Oversee quarterly and annual PR reports, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, enhance storytelling, and maximize account results.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communication Studies, or a related field OR at least 3 years of hands-on experience in B2B Tech Media Relations.
  • Proven PR Expertise: 2+ years of experience in B2B Tech Public Relations, with a track record of securing impactful media coverage.
  • Industry Engagement: Willingness to occasionally travel for client events and industry conferences, representing brands and building relationships.
  • Tech-Savvy PR Skills: Familiarity with PR CRM systems and media databases is a plus, helping to streamline media outreach and campaign tracking.
