The University of Rhode Island is seeking part-time faculty members for our User Experience Graduate Certificate Program. This program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to design and evaluate user-centered products and services. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of user experience professionals while maintaining a flexible schedule. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in user experience and a desire to mentor and guide students in this rapidly growing field. Join our team and help shape the future of user experience education at the University of Rhode Island. Develop and teach courses that cover the fundamentals of user experience design and evaluation. Provide guidance and mentorship to students in the program, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in the field. Design and deliver hands-on learning experiences that allow students to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in user experience design and incorporate them into the curriculum. Work collaboratively with other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive learning experience for students. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds. Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Stay accessible and available to students for guidance and support outside of class hours. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development and improvement of the program. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of students and the program. Serve as a brand ambassador for the program and the university, promoting its mission and values.
