Job Summary

arenaflex is seeking an experienced Membership Support Specialist to join our team in Brazil. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our members, processing membership applications and renewals, and developing strategies to recruit new members. Responsibilities

  • Communication Support: Provide general administrative support, including answering/solving member inquiries, troubleshooting, and managing member communications.
  • Membership Processing: Process membership applications, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data about our members using Salesforce CRM.
  • Member Communication: Assist with member communication activities, including calls, emails, and Zoom calls, to ensure seamless communication and engagement.
  • Data Collection and Reporting: Collect data, track membership statistics, report on key metrics, and prepare reports to inform business decisions.
  • Membership Development: Develop and implement strategies to recruit new members, including networking and relationship-building activities.
  • Event Support: Assist programming staff at onsite and virtual membership-related events, including supporting marketing and membership materials and fielding member inquiries.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Coordinate with the finance department to track membership revenue and update reports, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Marketing Materials: Prepare membership marketing materials, including promotional materials and communications.
  • Member Service Programs: Coordinate current member service programs, including relationship-building, onboarding, and engagement activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree with at least two years of related work experience in membership, with a preference for those with association and/or nonprofit experience.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and a solutions-based attitude, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and membership/databases, with experience with Cvent, Canva, Sprout Social, and Salesforce preferred.
