Job Summary

As an Experienced Call Center Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and clients, while also handling data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, process prescriptions, and enter patient data into our systems. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clients via phone, email, and chat

  • Handle high-volume customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Enter patient data into our systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Process prescriptions and handle medication-related inquiries
  • Investigate and resolve missing prescription data, deciphering clinical truncations (SIG codes) as needed
  • Settle all data entry-related exceptions and discrepancies
  • Handle correspondence with patients, including inbound calls, visits, and messages
  • Settle outbound decisions to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis
  • Resolve external outliers by surveying, gathering data, making recommendations, and resubmitting for processing as needed
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and remotely
  • Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Essential level computer skills, including:

+ Starting and closing a computer + Using a mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing documents + Accessing data online

  • Essential web browsing skills, including:

+ Opening a browser + Typing URLs in the address bar + Using a search engine + Bookmarking a webpage + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing online forms

  • Middle-of-the-road keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • 18 years or older

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment

  • At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a declaration/enrollment by the state as conceded by the State Board for Pharmacies or broadly recognized certification agency
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
  • Middle-to-advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files)
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English
