Tech Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Consultant to contribute to our inbound sales team. Position Overview As a Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in driving revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. Your expertise in sales, coupled with a strong balance of people and process skills, will be essential in achieving sales quotas and expanding our customer base. This position is base + commission.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition: Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, and effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services to convert prospects into customers. Sales Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales opportunities and closing deals within established timelines. Sales Process: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Relationship Building: Quickly and effectively establish trust with clients and prospects to encourage long-term retention. Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, and social selling. Lead Generation: Ability to supplement inbound lead funnel with existing book of business, including cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of successful sales experience in a technology-focused environment. Proven track record consistently exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets. Some experience in hunting for new business, developing sales pipelines, and closing deals. Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
