Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and customers, while working in a remote part-time capacity. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages, and resolving complex issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also be responsible for processing new patient enrollment, handling medication requests, and investigating missing medication data.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize arenaflex's solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate missing medication data and decipher clinical shortenings (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all information section-related exceptions.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
  • Resolve Outsider Oddballs by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements.
  • Make phone calls to backup plans and others to gather data, obtain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve the Outsider Oddballs.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and at other locations.
  • Identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Fundamental level computer skills, including:

+ Starting and closing a computer. + Using a mouse to point and click. + Starting and closing programs. + Switching between programs. + Saving files. + Printing reports or accessing data online.

  • Essential web search skills, including:

+ Opening a program. + Composing in URLs in the right area. + Using a web search engine. + Bookmarking a website. + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons. + Completing forms online.

  • Moderate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing reports).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Preferred Qualifications

* At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.

  • At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certification/enrollment by state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction.
  • Moderate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing reports).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
