Junior Supply Chain Planner (Hybrid)

About the position The Junior Supply Chain Planner plays a critical role in supporting demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply execution across BIG’s brand portfolio. This role is ideal for someone early in their supply chain career who is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced organization. You will partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and external manufacturing partners to ensure the right product is available at the right time while maintaining healthy inventory levels and service targets.

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly demand forecasting and inventory planning processes
  • Assist in maintaining accurate supply plans aligned to forecast, promotions, and new product launches
  • Identify potential supply risks (stockouts, excess inventory, long lead times) and escalate proactively
  • Maintain and update planning data in ERP/MRP systems
  • Support S&OP processes through data preparation and reporting
  • Analyze trends in sales, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns
  • Support the Procurement and Demand Planning teams as it relates to data and systems accuracy and updates
  • Assist with new product launch planning and phase-out strategies

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory planning, or operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort working in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
  • Understanding of forecasting concepts and inventory management principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Growth mindset and desire to build a long-term career in supply chain

Nice-to-haves

  • consumer goods or beauty industry preferred
  • Experience working in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
