Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Helotes, TX

- Full-time hours
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM day shifts
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Texas or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- At least one year of recent experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
- Epic EMR experience is highly desirable
- Experience with trach/vent and high-flow oxygen recommended, but not required
- Rehab nursing experience a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently deliver comprehensive patient care using the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Provide for both the medical and complex psychosocial needs of diverse patient groups
- Safely administer medications and monitor patient response in line with established protocols
- Accurately document patient history, symptoms, and all interventions provided
- Educate patients and families, assessing learning needs and connecting them with resources as required
- Assign and delegate tasks appropriately to maximize team effectiveness
