AI Technologist – Mechanical Design, Energy & Aviation Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We’re looking for an innovative AI Technologist to support mechanical engineering, energy, and aviation teams by building AI-driven solutions for design optimization, predictive modeling, and digital twins. This role is designed for AI/ML professionals who are eager to expand into new application domains and are excited to learn NVIDIA tools (training and certifications provided). What You’ll Do

  • Partner with engineers to apply AI/ML to CAD automation, structural analysis, simulation, and predictive maintenance.
  • Develop AI-driven solutions for digital twins and simulation-based design in energy and aviation.
  • Integrate AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.) with engineering workflows to accelerate productivity.
  • Prototype and deploy solutions with opportunities to transition into GPU-accelerated platforms (full NVIDIA training offered).
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary projects spanning mechanical design, modeling, and real-world energy/aviation challenges.

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Experience applying AI/ML to engineering, simulation, or predictive analytics.
  • Strong Python and/or C++ skills; familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge of CAD, simulation, or modeling tools (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, ANSYS, AutoCAD, etc.) is a big plus.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn NVIDIA CUDA, Jetson, and Triton platforms (no prior NVIDIA experience required).
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience applying AI/ML to engineering or technical problem-solving (energy, aviation, or mechanical domains).
  • Growth mindset and motivation to pursue professional certifications in NVIDIA tools (provided and funded).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Creative and analytical thinker who thrives on solving complex engineering problems.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Independent learner who enjoys working at the intersection of AI and real-world engineering.
