About the Role: Data Associate – Multilingual Speech & Text Data Annotation We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Associate to join our Alexa Data Services team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the critical task of primary annotation functions, including speech and text evaluation, to assess and improve Alexa's performance in real-world scenarios. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing speech recognition and language understanding capabilities, making voice interactions more natural and intuitive for users worldwide. This is a full-time, 1-year contract position based in California, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday. However, we maintain flexibility in our operations, and you may be required to work adaptable shifts, including weekends, evenings, or holidays, depending on business needs. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities As a Data Associate at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in our AI development pipeline. Here's what you can expect: Work with Diverse Data Types: Process and analyze a wide range of data, including text, speech, and various other data formats. You'll develop expertise in handling different types of information critical to training AI models. Deliver High-Quality Annotations: Produce top-notch annotated data using established guidelines and in-house tools to meet our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure the highest quality standards. Technical Issue Reporting: Identify and report issues with tools and software as they occur, helping our technical teams maintain smooth operations and continuous improvement. Ownership and Innovation: Take ownership of your work and drive improvements to existing tooling and processes. Data Security and Confidentiality: Maintain strict privacy standards and adhere to all relevant arenaflex policies for securing confidential information. Protecting data integrity is paramount in everything we do. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI Science and modeling teams to provide the essential data they need to advance Alexa's capabilities. What We're Looking For: Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need the following: Educational Background: High School diploma or equivalent (Secondary School leaving certificate). A Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required. Language Proficiency:
