Production Painter - 2nd Shift
Overview:
Join a culture of collaboration and innovation at Donaldson, a technology and innovation leader in filtration solutions. We are seeking a Production Painter to work in our Nicholasville, KY location, powder or liquid coating sheet metal for Industrial and Mobile Solutions air filtration systems.
Responsibilities:
• Operate and conduct equipment changeover of production equipment as defined in operator instructions
- Process paperwork such as scrap reports and move tickets
- Read, understand, and utilize route sheets
- Operate all paint-related equipment and label drums and paint-related materials
- Comply with DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures
- Prepare surfaces for painting and gather parts to group by colors
- Move large/awkward items using forklifts and cranes
- Successfully complete annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and DOT Hazardous Material Training
- *Qualifications:**
• Training required for hazardous waste and DOT procedures
- Ability to operate spray paint application equipment with attention to detail
- Ability to make repairs to surfaces for recoating
- Ability to move objects with heavy equipment (forklifts and cranes)
