[Hiring] Multi-State Remote Registered Dietitian, CDCES @Perry Health Inc
Role Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) passionate about remote care delivery. In this role, you will offer diabetes education and management, medical nutrition therapy, and personalized nutritional guidance for our members. You will partner with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure members receive expert clinical attention and education to lead healthier lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide call-based care and clinical nutrition management to patients in our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) program.
- Assess member health regimens and interpret blood glucose and CGM readings as they relate to nutrition.
- Craft individualized, compassionate meal plans based on member health needs and access.
- Support nutrition-related escalations and provide data-driven education.
- Collaborate with the broader care team — including RNs and Accountability Coaches — to reinforce clinical goals and SMART goal progression.
- Adhere to Perry Health policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure ongoing clinical quality and compliance.
Qualifications
- Education: BS in Nutrition.
- License: Valid, unencumbered state RD license. Priority states: TN, OH, MS, LA — strong preference for candidates currently licensed in one or more of these states.
- Certification: CDR and CDCES required.
- Experience: 3+ years managing patients with diabetes preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and behavior change theory is a plus.
- Skills: Motivated learner, willing to acquire proficiency with the necessary technology (computers, software applications, phone systems); experience or training in Motivational Interviewing to support sustainable behavior change is a plus.
- Traits: Creative thinking, an eye for detail, ability to work independently, a positive attitude, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced atmosphere while collaborating with diverse groups at all levels of the organization.
- Language: Spanish-speaking preferred.
Requirements
- Valid, unencumbered state RD license required.
- CDR and CDCES certification required.
- Must reside in the United States with consistent access to a clean, quiet workspace; solid internet connection; and proficient technical experience.
- Provide availability for the next two months by the 15th of each month.
Compensation & Payment Terms
- Contractors are paid on a monthly basis following Net 30 payment terms.
- Clinical Pay: $20.00 per Clinical Encounter.
- Non-Clinical Pay: $30.00/hour flat rate for required meetings and training.
Benefits
- 1099 flexibility; you set your own hours, ideally 20+ hours of weekly availability.
- Current Demand: Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. ET.
- Compensation budget for an average of $40/hr.
