Pharmacy Technician, PACE
Job Description:
- Assisting patients in receiving needed medications to help manage rare and/or chronic diseases.
- Engaging patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process orders and ensure timely shipment of medications.
- Accurately entering prescriptions into the system.
- Researching issues with pharmacists and doctors’ offices and providing guidance to patients about medication coverage.
- Handling multiple requests and documenting information in the computer system.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, or GED required
- Minimum of six months related experience
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws
- Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry skills
- RxHome experience a plus
- Basic math skills (addition/subtraction/multiplication)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
