Key Responsibilities

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering phone calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to their inquiries and complaints, and providing solutions to their concerns.
  • Focusing on customer retention and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.
  • Providing customers with our organization's service standards and ensuring that they understand our policies and procedures.
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues to high-level management and reporting on customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Routing inbound calls to the appropriate resources and following up on complicated customer calls as necessary.
  • Completing call notes and call reports as required and updating them in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to properly handle and document customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Some sales and customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication with proper grammar
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Some experience with MS Excel is a plus
  • Ability to react effectively and calmly in escalated situations

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As an Inbound Energy Customer Care Specialist, you'll receive a competitive salary of $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, plus commission. You'll also have access to a range of benefits, including:
