Program Overview

Our Tax Season Support Program is a 14-week program that runs from January 13th to April 15th, 2025. As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers via phone, chat, and email. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer issues, answer questions, and provide guidance on tax-related topics.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support via phone, chat, and email

  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Answer questions and provide guidance on tax-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve customer satisfaction goals
  • Participate in training and certification programs to stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations
  • Meet service level and contact per hour commitments
  • Demonstrate a positive and understanding attitude in the face of difficult or challenging customer interactions

Essential Qualifications

* High school graduate or equivalent

  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferable)
  • Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to empathize with customers and provide solutions to their problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet productivity goals
  • Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with tax software and tax-related products

  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Experience providing support via chat and email
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle change well
  • Strong team player attitude and ability to work collaboratively with others

  • Comfortable being on camera with customers and understanding the value of humanizing the interaction

Operating Hours and Schedule

* Operating hours: 8am to midnight EST, Monday to Sunday

  • Required minimum hours: 30 hours per week
  • Peak period: April 9th to 15th, 2025 (8am-midnight EST/EDT)
  • $5 Turbo Bonus Boost per hour (applicable to all hours worked from April 9th to 15th)
  • Schedule yourself and work a minimum of 8 hours each day on April 13th, 14th, and 15th
