Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial data entry processes. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

* Learn and master various accounting software applications, including QBO and other apps

  • Download financial statements, enter transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and perform basic financial reviews
  • Work independently to identify and resolve issues, and collaborate with the team to share solutions and best practices
  • Respond promptly to emails and messages from the team, and maintain open communication channels
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to expand your knowledge and skills
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, and support the achievement of our goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with QBO and other accounting software applications

  • Certification in accounting or a related field (e.g., CPA, CMA)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment
