The Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is a vital part of arenaflex, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children by locating non-custodial parents, establishing paternity and support orders, enforcing and modifying support obligations, and collecting and distributing child support payments. Our programs promote parent accountability and self-sufficiency while reducing the public responsibility for providing financial and medical support to children. We also administer several outreach programs, including Fatherhood, Prison Re-Entry, and Parental Accountability Court, to increase non-custodial parental involvement in the child's life.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Bilingual Child Support Customer Services Representative 2, you will play a critical role in communicating with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating Child Support obligations and necessary information to ensure obligations are met
  • Communicating with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact
  • Coordinating child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations
  • Obtaining and documenting detailed information
  • Performing other professional responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor

Core Competencies

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following core competencies:

  • Home-based technology equipped with a Windows-based operating system and high-speed internet access to receive arenaflex's software applications
  • Compliance with State of GA teleworking policy requirements
  • Excellent oral, written, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (oral and written)
  • High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of direct job-related experience
  • OR one (1) year of experience at the lower level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 1 (SST090) or position equivalent

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates who possess some or all of the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an approved, accredited college or university AND Two (2) years of call center experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent AND Two (2) years of call center experience
