Job Summary

As a Customer Advocate I, you'll work in a fast-paced call center environment, responding to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Conducting research to provide accurate and objective responses to customer inquiries - Spending approximately 85% of your scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction - Maintaining accurate records and data entry to ensure seamless customer interactions

Key Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and written communication channels - Conduct research to provide accurate and objective responses to customer inquiries - Spend approximately 85% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction - Maintain accurate records and data entry to ensure seamless customer interactions - Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of arenaflex's products and services - Provide exceptional customer service, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and professionalism

Essential Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent - 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment - Data entry and/or typing experience - Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills - Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions - Ability to spend approximately 90% of scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods with scheduled breaks

Preferred Qualifications:

- 9 months of customer service experience - Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management - Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change - Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria

Skills and Competencies:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in data entry and typing - Ability to maintain accurate records and data entry - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
