Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team at our Denham Springs, LA location. As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a positive store environment. You'll work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions, and recommend the right solutions. You'll also be responsible for processing sales transactions, maintaining accurate work order files, and pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse.

Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers to drive sales growth and customer loyalty
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
  • Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up displays
  • Clean store equipment
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Assist in making deliveries as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

* Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

* Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License

  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion

  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
