Healthcare Specialis
Role Description This is a part-time and remote role for a Healthcare Specialist. The Healthcare Specialist will provide expert guidance in healthcare practices, offer medical training, and ensure healthcare compliance in various initiatives. Responsibilities include communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, advising on healthcare standards, and planning specialized training sessions tailored to the needs of the university’s research initiatives. The specialist will also collaborate on developing healthcare protocols that align with best practices in the field.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) procedures and core healthcare knowledge
- Strong background in medicine and providing relevant training initiatives for healthcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey medical information across diverse teams
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while addressing healthcare needs
- Experience in academic or research settings is a plus
- Advanced degree or certification in healthcare, medicine, or a related field is highly desirable
