Remote · USA Full-time New today

Strategic Growth Manager Driving Impact through Public Speaking, Industry Events, and Institutional Relations Remote | Travel Required | INC 5000 Company About How To Manage A Small Law Firm (HTM) At How To Manage A Small Law Firm (HTM), we help solo and small law firm owners transform their firms from stressful practices into scalable, profitable businesses. We believe meaningful growth happens through trust, relationships, and strategic partnerships—not cold calls or transactional sales tactics. The Role This is not a desk-bound sales position. As a Strategic Growth Manager, you are the "front-line" ambassador for our national expansion. You are a high-level "door-opener" tasked with breaking into professional associations, securing stage time at major events, and managing institutional relationships that drive long-term growth. We are seeking a professional with "kick-down-the-door" energy—someone who thrives on the challenge of getting into exclusive rooms and has the sophistication to stay there. You will be responsible for building a bridge between HTM and the legal organizations, vendors, and referral partners that serve our target market.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-stakes relationships with bar associations and legal organizations. Market Penetration: Proactively identify and "kick down doors" to establish HTM within new associations and professional networks. Public Representation: Secure and execute speaking engagements at conferences and industry events to position HTM as a leading authority. Event Strategy: Lead our presence at expos and vendor fairs, ensuring HTM is the most impactful brand in the room. Strategic Networking: Identify and cultivate referral sources and strategic partners that create lasting value for HTM and the attorneys we serve. Growth Autonomy: Operate with a high degree of independence to expand our national referral network and brand presence. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, executive recruiting, or high-level relationship management. Proven "Hunter" Instinct: A track record of successfully gaining access to and influence within institutional organizations. Strong Relational Skills: The ability to build deep trust quickly and navigate complex professional landscapes. Public Speaking Excellence: Confident and persuasive on stage; capable of engaging and educating large audiences. Business Acumen: Experience working with business owners or professional services (legal industry experience is a significant plus). Travel Readiness: Extensive travel is required for conferences, expos, and in-person partner meetings. What We’re Looking For The Catalyst: You don’t wait for leads; you create opportunities and open doors that were previously closed. The Authority: You carry a professional presence that commands respect from executives and business owners. The Connector: You thrive on in-person engagement and building a vast, high-quality professional network. The Strategist: You understand that long-term institutional relationships are the key to sustainable growth. What We Are NOT Looking For Individuals who prefer highly scripted sales environments or rigid daily direction. Anyone who relies on high-volume, transactional outreach over relationship quality. Candidates who are uncomfortable with the physical and social demands of conferences and constant networking. Those who struggle with ambiguity, autonomy, or building their own structure. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary. Performance-based incentive structure. Fully remote work environment. Opportunity for growth within a nationally recognized, INC 5000 company. An entrepreneurial, high-trust team culture. Location & Travel Requirements This position is fully remote; however, candidates must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, or WA. Frequent travel is a core component of this role. Ready to scale? If you have the experience and the drive to be the face of HTM’s national growth, we encourage you to apply today. Apply To This Job
