At NOVACARD, we’re redefining how people use credit. We are the first interest-free and no-annual-fee credit card in Mexico, designed to simplify personal finances and give users complete control – all from a mobile app. With NOVACARD, users can access up to $200,000 MXN in credit, only pay when they use it, and manage everything digitally in under 5 minutes. Our mission is to empower people to make smarter financial decisions by offering flexibility, transparency, and the freedom they need to reach their goals. Simple finances, big goals.

About the Role

We are looking for a Collection Analyst to join the NOVACARD Risk Department. In this role, you will take ownership of collection strategy analytics, driving improvements through data-driven experimentation, segmentation, and multi-channel optimisation. You will work directly with large datasets, build and maintain dashboards, automate workflows, and collaborate closely with the Collections Manager, operations, and tech teams to turn insights into implemented changes that have a real impact on portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, formulate, and prioritise hypotheses for collection strategy and process improvements based on data analysis. Design, execute, and analyse end-to-end A/B tests across contact strategy, customer segmentation, and pricing. Develop and continuously optimise a multi-channel contact strategy (voice, SMS, WhatsApp, email, voicebot, letters). Build and maintain production dashboards and collections efficiency metrics in Power BI. Automate recurring analytical and operational workflows using Python. Evaluate external collection agencies: placement strategy, cost-vs-recovery analysis, and portfolio rotation recommendations. Collaborate with the Collections Manager, operations, and tech stakeholders to translate insights into implemented process and strategy changes. Requirements (MUST HAVE) 2–5 years of experience in an analytical role within collections, credit risk, or portfolio management in consumer lending (fintech, banks, credit cards, BNPL, SOFOMs). Advanced English – mandatory; daily working language used with the international team. Strong SQL skills, including appropriate data storage design, indexes, execution plan analysis, lock awareness, and partitioning. Python for data analysis, scripting, and process automation. Power BI for building and maintaining production-ready dashboards. Solid understanding of experimentation methodologies and collections efficiency metrics. Proven ability to manage initiatives end-to-end independently, without micromanagement.

Nice to Have

Ability to build and apply simple data science models (segmentation, scoring, uplift modelling). Active use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate analysis and code development. Familiarity with dialer technology and its operational levers. Familiarity with Mexican credit regulators (CONDUSEF, CNBV, Buró de Crédito). Bash scripting for operational automation and maintenance tasks.

What We Offer

Fully remote work format. Official employment under the Russian Labor Code (if residing in Russia); contractor collaboration possible from other countries. Opportunity to work in an international team on a new digital product in the Mexican market. Work in a data-driven environment where your contributions have a real impact. Apply To This Job
