Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative - Self Storage Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Working independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
  • Assessing customer storage needs and making suggestions, including offering packing and moving supplies
  • Keeping surfaces and high-touch areas clean, including sweeping, mopping, debris removal, and wiping windows
  • Conducting daily storage unit inspections, confirming inventory availability, and ensuring spaces are ready to rent
  • Managing, auditing, balancing cash drawer, and preparing and making daily deposits
  • Helping keep customers current with payment and making collection calls when required

Qualifications

Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies. You should have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
