Fraud Prevention Analyst 4

About the position Responsible for managing, monitoring and coordinating fraud risk management projects for card, deposit and loan products. Predicts the level of fraud risk, develops policies and procedures used to evaluate and control fraud risk, and analyzes the potential profit/loss impact on the assigned product line of changes in risk management strategies. Develops and maintains the analytical framework and support systems for the fraud claim management and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, monitoring and coordinating fraud risk management projects for card, deposit and loan products.
  • Predicting the level of fraud risk.
  • Developing policies and procedures used to evaluate and control fraud risk.
  • Analyzing the potential profit/loss impact on the assigned product line of changes in risk management strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining the analytical framework and support systems for the fraud claim management and reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than six years of applicable experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all departmental data sources, and of fraud risk and operations management associated with the product lines
  • Strong analytical skills relative to evaluating fraud prevention infrastructure and forecasting fraud loss trends
  • Strong project management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications and data analysis software
