This role owns the management and growth of wholesale brand partnerships — spanning both wholesale and retail channels depending on partner scope — while also leading the identification and execution of incremental revenue growth opportunities including new market and territory expansion, new revenue streams such as licensing and co-manufacturing, and strategic wholesale account development. The Director will serve as both the primary owner of all brand partnership activity across the wholesale portfolio and a thought partner to senior leadership on the broader commercial growth agenda. Responsibilities: Wholesale Brand Partnership Management Serve as the primary point of contact and internal owner for all wholesale brand partnerships operating under reverse royalty or brand license structures, managing partners across wholesale and retail channels depending on deal scope. Drive the full launch lifecycle for new brand partnerships: from onboarding through go-to-market execution, ensuring timely launches in accordance with agreed-upon timelines and commercial terms. Build and sustain strong working relationships with leadership, sales, and marketing stakeholders at each brand partner organization, serving as the primary external liaison across all channel touchpoints. Continuously evaluate brand partner performance against revenue, gross margin, and growth targets; develop improvement plans for underperforming partners and provide strategic recommendations on portfolio composition, including partnership termination where warranted. Incremental Revenue Growth Initiatives Identify, evaluate, and lead the execution of incremental revenue growth opportunities beyond brand partnerships, including new market and territory expansion, licensing and co-manufacturing agreements, and strategic wholesale account development. Serve as a thought partner to the Executive Director of Wholesale, proactively surfacing and presenting new commercial opportunities across brand partnerships, new revenue streams, and untapped markets or accounts. Track, report, and analyze performance metrics across all growth initiatives, including revenue, gross margin, and KPIs for both brand partnerships and other incremental revenue programs. Interdepartmental Engagement & Milestone Management Coordinate cross-functionally with compliance, operations, marketing, and finance to ensure all brand partnerships and revenue growth initiatives are executed in alignment with internal requirements, timelines, and commercial objectives. Own the wholesale project management cadence for all active and pipeline brand partnerships and growth initiatives, maintaining visibility into launch schedules, deliverable status, and escalation needs across departments. Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership on partnership performance, portfolio health, and the status and outlook of incremental growth initiatives. Qualifications: 8+ years of progressive experience in business development, brand partnerships, or commercial growth roles, with at least 3 years at a director level or equivalent. Demonstrated experience managing wholesale brand partnerships, licensing or royalty structures, and/or co-manufacturing arrangements is strongly preferred. Track record of owning and executing incremental revenue growth initiatives spanning new markets, new revenue streams, and strategic account development. Previous experience in a regulated industry is strongly preferred; cannabis industry experience is a plus. Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous partnerships and growth programs with competing priorities in a high-growth, operationally intensive environment. Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to work effectively across compliance, operations, marketing, and finance to drive results. Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a high degree of accountability for timelines, deliverables, and commercial results. Solid analytical capability with experience using revenue and margin data to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and make informed strategic recommendations. Demonstrated leadership success with a recognized aptitude for continued growth. Frequent travel will be required. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a comprehensive background check. Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position.
