Job Summary
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to maximize the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend. You'll work closely with business stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for cost savings, mitigate risks, and drive process improvements. Your expertise will be essential in building relationships with key executives, advising on market engagement, leading deal negotiations, and optimizing cross-functional relationships.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to maximize the value of professional services spend
- Build relationships with key executives, advising on market engagement and identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Lead deal negotiations, ensuring compliance with TWDC policies and procedures
- Evaluate providers and experts based on pre-determined criteria, developing and leading RFI/RFP processes
- Analyze bids, identifying opportunities to obtain the best value for arenaflex
- Prepare and execute clear, data-driven negotiation techniques using Strategic Sourcing methodology
- Prepare and execute contracts, ensuring compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute performance control applications with providers
- Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
- Communicate and document the reputation of any significant outside relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
- Analyze market trends and conditions that may impact internal stakeholders and outside providers or pricing
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date on contemporary best practices
- Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
Key Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in professional services sourcing
- Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels
- Strong strategic agility, analytical skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills, with experience working with a legal department on boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment, with internal client awareness and the ability to work in various environments
- Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends and conditions
- Proven expertise in all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
- Established experience working with a legal department on boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services
- Professional Services Sourcing history is a plus
- Consulting/Advisory history is a plus
Required Education
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
