Role Overview

As a Remote Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll serve as the essential voice for patients and healthcare providers, delivering outstanding service and support. Your key duties will encompass addressing customer inquiries, processing medical and prescription claims, and ensuring a favorable experience for all stakeholders. You'll be the first point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, providing accurate information, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle customer and patient inquiries with empathy while processing medical and prescription claims.

  • Offer accurate information to patients regarding their prescriptions and pharmacy offerings.
  • Respond to medical and pharmaceutical billing inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist patients in navigating medical insurance verification and explore payment options to fulfill their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, industry developments, and company policies to provide informed support.

Required Skills

* Strong communication abilities coupled with a compassionate approach to customer service.

  • Experience in processing medical and prescription claims.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance and billing inquiries is advantageous.

Qualifications

* At least one year of experience within a healthcare or medical call center environment is required.

  • Understanding of medical benefits, medical insurance, and prescriptions is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
