Job Summary

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving our quality control initiatives and ensuring that our processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our business objectives. You'll work closely with our team to analyze data, identify trends and patterns, and develop insights that inform our business decisions. Your expertise will help us identify areas for improvement, optimize our processes, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform and assist others in the Quality Control group in convenient data collection, validation, and preliminary driver analysis on data components.

  • Help create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
  • Assist in exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide insightful answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while adjusting existing task responsibility.
  • Present findings, trends, and potential suggestions by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant areas of the analysis to ease partner understanding.
  • Assist in creating and disseminating specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, outlining the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
  • Identify irregularities in processes through reviews/surveys and communicate findings to the team.
  • Assess the effectiveness of processes and strategies by observing for patterns and errors.
  • Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
  • May perform other work duties as directed by Group Leader.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, coordinate, and analyze large datasets with precision and care.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to evaluate business issues, identify opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data analysis software and tools, such as Alteryx, QuickBase, or similar.
  • Ability to identify and analyze complex problems, summarize and perform preliminary driver analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning.
  • Experience with PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications is a plus.
  • Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure areas of strength for a help/group-oriented climate.
  • Ability to focus on liabilities actually and be an autonomous thinker.
  • Past work experience in a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).

  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data analysis software and tools, such as Alteryx, QuickBase, or similar.
  • Experience with programming languages, such as Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with data governance and compliance.
