Gig Description

GigCX Marketplace is partnering with arenaflex to provide support to millions of people filing their taxes smarter each year. As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you will be the voice of our company, delivering exceptional support experiences to our customers. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a desire to learn, and enthusiasm for delighting customers.

Program Details

* Program duration: January 13th, 2025 to April 15th, 2025

  • Preference will be given to Service Providers (SPs) who can commit and work all 14 weeks of the program
  • Operating hours: 8am to midnight EST, Monday to Sunday
  • Required minimum hours: 30 hours per week
  • Peak period: April 9th to 15th, with extended hours and a Turbo Bonus Boost of $5 per hour

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional support experiences to customers via phone, chat, and email

  • Demonstrate a sincere desire for a quality customer experience
  • Promote a positive work environment and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and share feedback
  • Simplify and communicate complex ideas to customers
  • Diffuse situations with angry customers and maintain a positive attitude
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to the product and tax season to provide knowledgeable support to customers

Essential Qualifications

* High school graduate

  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferable)
  • Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to empathize with customers and modify communication style to meet customer needs
  • Customer service skills and ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Analytical skills, including research, analysis, and problem-solving
  • Organizational skills, including initiative, multitasking, and time management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet team productivity goals
  • Flexibility to work extra shifts when needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with software troubleshooting and technical issues

  • Familiarity with tax season and tax laws
  • Ability to work in a training environment with self-paced training module videos
  • Willingness to step-in as needed, including answering questions from customers via chat
