Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy network. You will be responsible for preparing and inputting claimant profiles, assisting pharmacies with adjudication, and coordinating with client adjusters and claimants to ensure accurate medication benefits. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, learn new skills, and make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepares, inputs, and supports claimant profiles in the pharmacy network

  • Assists pharmacies in adjudication of claimant medications
  • Coordinates and liaises with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate medication benefits
  • Supports client needs on requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data
  • Manages and updates client and claimant information in multiple systems
  • Answers questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies on any topic related to the claimant's current or previous medications
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

* 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience and/or training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Familiarity with and experience working as part of a dedicated team
  • Excellent written grammatical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as letters and reports
  • Excellent understanding of proper telephone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Exceptional editing, grammar, and spelling skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting

  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication management
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and claims management systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing processes and needs

Skills and Competencies

* Proficient in the use of computers, multiple software systems, and learning of new programs

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle and manage significant email and phone communications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
