Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Dental Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Pacific or Eastern Time Zones. As the face of arenaflex, you'll impact members' service experience by manner of how customer service inquiries and problems are resolved via telephone. You'll engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of arenaflex plans, tools, and resources to help guide them along a clear path to care.

Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via telephone, demonstrating empathy and compassion in a transaction-based environment.

  • Engage with members to understand their unique needs and preferences, and provide personalized guidance on arenaflex plans, tools, and resources.
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide related information to answer unasked questions, such as additional plan details, benefit plan details, and member self-service tools.
  • Use the customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues.
  • Explain members' rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract.
  • Educate providers on self-service options.
  • Advocate for members to resolve billing conflicts and take them out of the middle.
  • Document and track contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors.
  • Triages resulting rework to appropriate staff.

Requirements:

* Customer service experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail location, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate.

  • Experience in a production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment.

  • Knowledge of dental plans and benefits.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Compensation and Benefits:

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $28.46 per hour, depending on experience, education, and other relevant factors. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with matching company contributions.

Training and Development:

We offer comprehensive training and development programs to help you succeed in your role. Our training schedule is 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Central Daylight Time, and post-training work schedule is 9:30 am - 6:00 pm (Pacific or Eastern Daylight Time zone based on where you live).
