Product Manager – Animal Health / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Position Overview The Product Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution for a portfolio of specialized pet health products. This individual will drive market expansion, optimize product performance, and develop data-driven marketing strategies that support revenue growth and brand positioning. The role partners closely with veterinary professionals, sales teams, retailers, and internal cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful execution across all customer touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of strategic product and marketing plans to drive sales, market share, and revenue growth
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and research data to identify opportunities and optimize performance
  • Develop and execute strategies across product, pricing, promotion, placement, point-of-purchase, and protocol initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, regulatory, legal, technical services, agencies, and external stakeholders
  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer (VOC) by gathering feedback from veterinarians, consumers, and retail partners
  • Support customer/channel-specific marketing initiatives and co-promotion opportunities
  • Manage product launches, market research, and competitive analysis initiatives
  • Help manage marketing budgets and ensure financial targets are achieved
  • Participate in national and regional veterinary conferences and industry events

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–7+ years of experience within Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Field Sales, or related experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a Product Marketing or Product Management focused role
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally within matrixed organizations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Animal health industry experience preferred
  • Digital marketing experience strongly preferred
