Product Coordinator - Japanese Bilingual

The company is a game company that publishes titles across multiple platforms ranging from console to handheld and mobile. You will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the development & implementation of all aspects of assigned projects from inception through cross-team involvement to delivery. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Primary liaison between the Japanese development teams and production team for a live operations title.
  • Monitr product updates and maintenance and sare fan feedback with Japanese development teams.
  • Request information required for social media and marketing efforts.
  • Accurately translate informational material from written Japanese to English and vice versa.
  • Ensuring quality of in-game messaging and messages and announcements on all official channels.
  • Work with the community manager to provide a helpful presence for the fans. Public appearance in live streaming broadcasts may be required.
  • Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties that are assigned by upper management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be business-level proficiency in English and in Japanese (both written and verbal).
  • Between one year to two years of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
  • Flexible to work overtime hours and night shifts as needed occasionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Eagerness and passion to learn and grow in the video games industry.
