Our client is a highly respected community support organization seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote Senior Social Worker to join their expanding virtual care team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to provide essential social services to vulnerable populations from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing intervention strategies, providing counseling, and connecting individuals and families with vital community resources. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and a strong commitment to client advocacy and empowerment. You will manage a caseload, conduct virtual client sessions, and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care. A deep understanding of mental health, substance abuse, family dynamics, and community support systems is crucial. You must be adept at utilizing technology for remote service delivery and maintaining confidential client records. Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients to identify needs and strengths. Developing and implementing individualized service plans and intervention strategies. Providing direct counseling and therapeutic support to individuals, families, and groups via virtual platforms. Connecting clients with appropriate community resources, such as housing assistance, mental health services, and employment support. Advocating for clients' rights and needs within various systems. Monitoring client progress and adjusting service plans as necessary. Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with agency policies and legal requirements. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure coordinated care. Providing crisis intervention and support when needed. Educating clients and families about available resources and support systems. Participating in case consultations and team meetings. Qualifications: Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from an accredited institution. Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent licensure in your state of residence. Minimum of 5 years of clinical social work experience. Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions. Experience working with diverse populations and addressing issues such as mental health, trauma, substance abuse, and family challenges. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a remote caseload effectively. Proficiency with telehealth platforms, electronic health records (EHR), and other relevant technology. Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality. Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
