Remote Social Work Specialist
Role Overview Beyond Social Work Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Social Work Specialist to join our team. This full-time position will be instrumental in providing support and guidance to individuals within our Detox Center, helping them navigate their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs and strengths of clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to clients and their families.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Advocate for clients' access to community resources and support services.
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- LCSW or equivalent licensure preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a substance use or mental health environment.
- Strong understanding of recovery principles and support systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
