Summary You, as a Field Service Engineer will be responsible for relating to enhancing services technology integrating customer data, or capturing engines/products reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and other performance parameters. Includes hourly, nonexempt and exempt employees as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result. Job Description

Main mission: Provide support to customers for the installation, maintenance, and restoration of medical imaging systems (MR, CT...) within your assigned area. Technical support: Assist customers during the installation of new equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the installed base, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues by applying established procedures. Consult with the supervisor or the more experienced team members when facing situations not covered by standard instructions or parameters. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical problems. Customer relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the interface between them and GE HealthCare. Ensure clear, proactive, and positive communication throughout all service interactions. Professional development: Continuously maintain and develop your skills by using the training tools provided. Take an active role in advancing your technical and professional expertise. Requirements / Qualifications: A diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology Minimum 3 years of professional experience in medical equipment maintenance or maintenance of other equipment. Knowledge of electrical engineering, electronics, radio engineering, mechanics; Knowledge of physics of the magnetic field, X-rays, ultrasound; · Knowledge of the technical characteristics, design specifics, purpose and equipment operation modes, rules for operation and equipment use; Good technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; The ability to plan and organize your work own effectively, and to work with minimal direction; Strong interpersonal, listening and customer service skills – you can deal with differences of opinion tactfully and effectively; Good English is required for the role.
